Artist Statement
My original monotypes, collagraphs and dry point etchings depict my reactions to experiences and emotions resulting from particular events and locations. Traveling has played an important role in choosing my subjects. My work is bound together by a powerful sense of color. Printmaking is full of compromises and quirks and maintains an element of unpredictability from start to finish.
Capturing my own ideas and seeing them live as a work of art, is the highest kind of excitement.
